In addition to the natural inducement of peace and tranquility, the chemical composition of tea offers a number of health benefits.

Researchers have found that tea has disease fighting properties. Unique phytochemicals (Plant Chemicals) found in tea helps decrease the chances of developing:

  • Heart Disease

Phytochemical compounds are powerful anti-oxidants which mop up free radicals – harmful molecules involved in a number of different types of disease including diabetes and aging.

Apart from being a low calorie drink, the mineral content in tea gives it nutritional value. With manganese, zinc, potassium and magnesium found in tea, it makes an important contribution towards the daily human mineral requirement.
